Otwórz się na świat – semestr letni Erasmus+ na UJK/ Open Up to the World – Erasmus+ Summer Semester at UJK
W sumie 56 osób będzie studiować podczas semestru letniego 2026 na UJK w ramach wymiany międzynarodowej programu Erasmus+
Na naszej uczelni rozpoczęły się Orientation Days, czyli trzydniowe spotkania adaptacyjne dla studentów, którzy przyjeżdżają do Kielc specjalnie po to, by kolejny semestr spędzić na UJK. Studia rozpoczną tu lada chwila kolejne 33 osoby z Turcji, Rumunii, Hiszpanii, Włoch, Węgier, Albanii, Gruzji, Argentyny i Chin. Tym razem podejmą naukę na kierunkach: filologia angielska, pedagogika, logistyka, pielęgniarstwo, informatyka, biologia, chemia, psychologia, dziennikarstwo i komunikacja społeczna, stosunki międzynarodowe, kierunek lekarski oraz kierunki związane ze sztuką.
Przybyłych gości powitały rektor UJK prof. dr hab. Beata Wojciechowska, uczelniana koordynator Programu Erasmus+, prorektor ds. współpracy międzynarodowej dr hab. Sylwia Konarska-Zimnicka, prof. UJK oraz koordynatorki Programu reprezentujące Dział Wymiany Akademickiej i Programu Erasmus+ UJK.
Tego dnia studenci spotkali się również z koordynatorami swoich kierunków oraz tzw. Study Buddies, czyli polskimi studentami, którzy przez najbliższy semestr będą służyć pomocą swoim koleżankom i kolegom z zagranicy. W kolejnych dniach w ramach Orientation Days nowi studenci m.in. odwiedzą Bibliotekę Uniwersytecką, Uniwersyteckie Centrum Sportu oraz udadzą się na krótki spacer po Kielcach.
Semestr letni na UJK spędzą również 23 osoby, które studiowały tu w semestrze zimowym, ale przedłużyły swój pobyt, na co pozwala program Erasmus+. To doskonały dowód na to, że młodym ludziom podoba się zarówno kielecki uniwersytet, jak i samo miasto. Na pozostanie w Kielcach zdecydowali się studenci z Włoch, Hiszpanii, Rumunii i Turcji.

A total of 56 students will study at Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) during the summer semester of 2026 as part of the international Erasmus+ exchange program.
Orientation Days—three-day introductory meetings for students who have come to Kielce specifically to spend the upcoming semester at UJK—have just begun at our university. Another 33 students from Turkey, Romania, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Albania, Georgia, Argentina, and China will soon start their studies here. This time, they will pursue degrees in English Philology, Pedagogy, Logistics, Nursing, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Journalism and Social Communication, International Relations, Medicine, and art-related programs.
The newly arrived guests were welcomed by the Rector of UJK, Professor Beata Wojciechowska; the University Erasmus+ Program Coordinator and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Sylwia Konarska-Zimnicka; and the Program Coordinators representing the International Relations Office UJK.
On that day, the students also met with the coordinators of their respective programs and their so-called Study Buddies—Polish students who will support their international peers throughout the semester. In the following days, as part of Orientation Days, the new students will visit the University Library and the University Sports Center, and take a short tour around Kielce.
The summer semester at UJK will also be spent by 23 students who studied here during the winter semester and decided to extend their stay, as permitted by the Erasmus+ program. This is clear evidence that both the university in Kielce and the city itself have made a very positive impression on these young people. Students from Italy, Spain, Romania, and Turkey have chosen to remain in Kielce.
